Aqua-Tech Recruitment is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for industrial sites in Ayrshire and Glasgow due to expanding operations.

Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently working on behalf of several clients who, due to expanding operations, are looking to recruit experienced Mechanical Fitters to work on a range of industrial sites in and around the Ayrshire and Glasgow areas.

Responsibilities:

General mechanical fitting duties
Installation of mechanical equipment such as pumps, valves, and pipework
Fitting of metal support systems
Fault finding on mechanical equipment, identifying root causes of mechanical malfunctions, whether they occur unexpectedly (reactive) or as part of planned maintenance, and devising effective solutions
Works can be varied and at times may require undertaking other duties such as assisting with electrical or structural tasks
Implement all of the company's rules or procedures within the Health and Safety Policy that are appropriate to the activities being undertaken
Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and rules on site

Requirements:

Mechanical apprenticeship or Level 3 Mechanical qualification as minimum
CSCS Card (desirable)
Full UK Driving Licence
Previous industrial experience (water industry experience is a bonus but not essential)
