Maxwell Consultancy have exciting new roles for Mechanical Fitters. Based in Glasgow with an established business who are going through a great period of growth. Working in their state of the art workshop, these are full-time, permanent positions that come with excellent company benefits. the business is expanding and will have opportunities for the right candidate to move in to more senior roles. Huge earning potential working a 4 day week from Monday to Thursday with Friday's off.
What's required?
- SVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Mechanical Engineering background within heavy engineering, aerospace or marine
- Mechanical Fitter with assembly or test experience
- Working with pumps, valves and ancillary equipment
- Pipework installations
- Rotating equipment experience beneficial
- Installation, commissioning, testing and dismantling
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Dismantling and assembly of repair / service pumps
- Responsible for your own quality of work, self-inspection
