Maxwell Consultancy are working closely with a global engineering business in their search for Mechanical Fitters - Assembly / Test. These are full time, permanent positions working from their state of the art facility in Glasgow. 4 day working week (no Fridays). Shifts are eitherday shift or day / night shift (2 week rotation).

What's required?

Time served Mechanical Fitter
Assembly or Test of mechanical equipment
Experience working within heavy engineering
Work to engineering drawings
Self inspection and completion of paperwork / checklists
Highlight any non-conformances
Understanding of Leanmanufacturing techniques
Work towards continuous improvement methods within the workshop
Adhere to health and safety procedure in the workshop at all times
Participate in training withpeers and apprentices
Able to work efficiently and effectively on your own as well as part of a team
