Mechanical Maintenance Fitter
MAA Recruitment are looking for a skilled mechanical maintenance fitter with an all round background to join our client's team based in the South West of Glasgow. This is a new role to work for a long established company working with ground support equipment This is a permanent role and will be based in Glasgow. A drivers licence is key to this role as driving may be required to visit other UK facilities and clients.

Role:
Working with a variety of aerospace companies carrying out maintenance on all ground support equipment.
Providing maintenance, service and repair on all ground support equipment and tooling with the aero industry.
Maintenance on all equipment and tools that ground support need to ensure the safety of passengers and ground crew.
Survey and identify any parts that require replacing, full strip, replace and re-assemble.
Specific experience in the aerospace industry is not required.

Required:
Time served - either City & Guilds/Modern Apprenticeship
Good all round background, repairing and servicing a variety of machines/equipment
To be responsible for training of a junior member of staff once training is completed.

Hours:
Mon-Fri 7.30am-4pm

Money:
£45k per annum
