Mobile Plant Engineer (Diagnostics / Fault Finding)£32,000 - £37,500 (OTE £50k - £60k) + Van + 39 Hour week + Door to Door Pay + BenefitsGlasgow, ScotlandAre you a Plant Engineer with knowledge of diagnostics and fault finding, looking for a highly autonomous, remote position where you will plan your own schedule, working a local patch for a company that values career progression?
In this role you will be servicing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of Plant and Agricultural machinery within a 1 hours radius of Dundee. You will receive expert, manufacturer accredited training on this companies core machinery to become a fully independent and autonomous Field Engineer. Also, there are progression opportunities into supervisory positions and even depot management, for highly motivated employees.This company is a market leading manufacturer and supplier of plant, construction and agricultural equipment in the United Kingdom. They have built a solid reputation over the last 40 years for providing the best quality equipment and have grown consistently since their start and are looking to capitalise on this growth with this recent vacancy.This role would suit an experienced Plant Fitter or similar with diagnostics experience who wants to be their own boss, act autonomously and represent the business.The Role:
- Attending breakdowns at client sites, carrying out service and repairs on plant / agricultural equipment
- Carrying out routine maintenance, diagnostics, examinations, and fault finding
- Working a local patch around Dundee with door to door pay
- Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm, early finish on Fridays
The Person:
- Plant Fitter, Technician or Engineer
- Diagnostics experience
- Full UK Drivers Licence
