- Manage a portfolio of casualty claims, including Employer’s Liability, Product Liability, and some motor claims.
- Assess claims accurately, evaluating liability and quantum up to £25,000.
- Ensure claims investigations are thorough, fair, and compliant with industry regulations.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, brokers, and internal teams.
- Identify and address customer complaints efficiently, escalating where necessary.
- Negotiate claim settlements to ensure timely and fair resolutions.
- Participate in audits and follow specific account requirements.
- Previous experience in claims handling is essential.
- Knowledge of casualty claims is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Experience in a commercial insurance claims environment is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new IT systems quickly.
