It is committed to growing and continually developing its Property and Casualty proposition across the UK, specifically within the midmarket / corporate space in Scotland.Due to the above, they seek an experienced underwriter to join their existing business underwriting division team in Glasgow.The Role/Team:In this role, you will be dealing with property and casualty policies across the midmarket / corporate sector. The business has a diverse appetite so can write risks as either combined product or singular with premiums ranging from 10k-50k along with some more complex cases as well.  You will be part of a team of 13 that has a mixture of experience so will have the opportunity to learn from your peers as well. The team will be supported by senior underwriters and the Underwriting Manager who is based in the Glasgow office.If you are a technical underwriter who relishes the broker relationship management piece, this will particularly appeal to you.Required Skills/Experience:We are looking to speak to individuals who have experience within a similar role with an insurer or from a broker that has DUA.
