Interior Designer - Residential - Glasgow and Edinburgh

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Creative and technical design of interiors, including bespoke kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living furniture.
Interior design, interior architecture, and spatial planning.
Engaging client presentations, offering expert advice and recommendations.
Managing multiple projects from concept to installation, including ordering, site meetings, and surveys.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Collaborating with suppliers and project teams, including architects, contractors, and tradespeople.
Delivering innovative design solutions that exceed client expectations while respecting budgets.
Continuously developing industry knowledge and expertise.
Working collaboratively with colleagues while also taking initiative.
Maintaining the studio space and ensuring an excellent client experience.

Key Experience and Skills

Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent.
Minimum of 35 years of relevant industry, project, and site experience.
Strong CAD skills, including proficiency in SketchUp.
Expertise in designing and delivering interiors with meticulous attention to detail.
A proactive, motivated approach to contributing to business growth.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage workloads under pressure.
Exceptional client service, active listening, and communication skills.
Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving industry.

Additional Details

Full-time role: 9am 5pm, five days a week (Monday Saturday with a set day off).
Studio locations: Opportunities available in multiple locations, with flexibility to support workload needs.
A full, clean driving licence is required.
