Our client, are a rapidly expanding leader in the Scottish Food Industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to customers across the United Kingdom. They are seeking a proactive Inventory Controller (Stores Person) to join their dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely inventory replenishment.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Operate a forklift truck daily for moving and organising products.
- Collaborate with logistics to streamline operations.
- Analyse inventory data to assist in decision-making.
What we are Looking For:
- Experience as an Inventory Controller or in a similar role in the food industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
- Valid forklift truck license and warehouse experience (training can be provided)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
