About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Fund Oversight Specialist to support fund assessment and valuation, ensuring compliance with FCA-driven criteria. This role is integral to overseeing fund performance across multiple dimensions and delivering high-quality outcomes. You will work closely with investment committees, directors, and key stakeholders, contributing to the broader oversight of 150 funds.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate funds using FCA-defined criteria, providing a rating system for fund performance.
  • Produce public value statements, reviewed and approved by senior directors and investment committees.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including investment managers and delegates, to address feedback and ensure alignment.
  • Conduct extensive reviews of fund performance, balancing regulatory compliance and quality standards.
  • Engage in board-level discussions and committee meetings, ensuring informed decision-making and compliance.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Strong understanding of the funds world, including fund performance metrics.
  • Experience in fund evaluation, compliance, or front-office functions.
  • Excellent communication, grammar, and language skills for producing high-quality reports and statements.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and manage internal reviews effectively.
  • Familiarity with the end-to-end oversight process and regulatory frameworks.

Prior experience in compliance or fund management roles is desirable, along with exposure to investment committees and senior-level decision-making.
