Operations Associate

Search Consultancy is currently recruiting for an Operations Associate to join one of our investment clients based in Glasgow.Location: Glasgow, City CentreContract: 12 MonthsHybrid WorkingAbout the Role:You will be a member of the Collateral Operations Team, responsible for managing the credit exposure of OTC derivative and repo transactions across various businesses, including Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives.Responsibilities:* Managing collateral disputes with institutional and hedge fund counter-parties. This includes supporting disputes on both variation margin and regulatory initial margin required under Uncleared Margin Rules (UMR). The range of products supported is extensive, including FX, Credit & Rates Derivatives, Commodities, Repo, and Equity Derivatives.* Running reconciliations to identify, analyse, and resolve root cause margin disputes.* Working with other internal teams such as Sales & Trading, Operations, Risk Management, and Legal.* Promptly resolving incoming queries regarding disputes.* Concentrating on increasing efficiency, enhancing control, and continuously improving and reducing operational risk.Skills & Experience:* Previous experience with derivative products and collateral dispute resolution.* Understanding of the key fields within CSA documents that impact margin calls.* Excellent attention to detail when analysing or interpreting data.* Ability to comprehend and process complex data.
