This firm is recognized nationally for its expertise across a broad spectrum of finance transactions and works with major clients in sectors that often involve multi-jurisdictional complexities. Acting on behalf of borrowers, lenders, and investors, the team brings a well-rounded, practical perspective to each financing transaction. Their experience covers corporate lending, leveraged finance, asset finance, real estate finance (investment and development), project finance, and invoice discounting, managing transactions on both bilateral and syndicated bases. The team handles some of the largest and most complex transactions in the market, making this an ideal setting for an ambitious lawyer to expand their expertise and build their career. Role Responsibilities:The Associate will work on a diverse range of mainstream finance matters, managing the entire transaction lifecycle. This includes drafting and negotiating security documents (both LMA and non-LMA forms), managing intercreditor agreements, overseeing conditions precedent, and handling all other aspects of active lending transactions. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience and assume meaningful matter responsibility, with significant opportunities to engage in client development and networking initiatives. Skills and Qualifications: 
  • 2-4 years PQE with solid experience in general banking, ideally from a reputable firm
  • Proven ability to advise borrowers, lenders, and/or investors across the full transaction lifecycle
  • Experience with drafting and negotiating security documents (LMA and non-LMA forms) and managing intercreditor agreements
  • Strong understanding of various finance areas, including:
    • Leveraged finance
    • Real estate finance
    • Corporate lending
    • Asset-based lending (ABL)
  • Naturally proactive and collaborative approach, with a passion for high-quality client service
  • Ability to support and assist team members at both local and national levels on complex finance transactions
