You will draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and technology contracts, including AI, SaaS, and cybersecurity agreements. Description

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of technology contracts, including software licensing, SaaS, AI, and cybersecurity agreements.

  • Advising on commercial, intellectual property, data protection, and risk management issues related to technology transactions.

  • Supporting procurement activities and supplier negotiations for large-scale tech projects.

  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders across IT, legal, and compliance teams to drive strategic contract decisions.

  • Contributing to business development by providing thought leadership on technology law trends and innovations.

Profile

  • A solicitor or equivalent with at least 5 years' PQE in technology/commercial law, either in-house or in private practice.

  • Experienced in drafting and negotiating complex technology contracts, including AI-related agreements.

  • Knowledgeable in intellectual property, data protection, and information security issues.

  • Commercially astute, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and provide strategic legal advice.
