Role: Private Client Solicitor – 5+ PQE

The Opportunity
A leading law firm with one of the largest private client teams in the country is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its Glasgow office. This role offers the chance to work with high-net-worth individuals and families, providing bespoke legal services in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Role
- Handle a diverse caseload, including wills, trusts, estate planning (IHT and CGT), executries and incapacity matters
- Provide tailored advice on inheritance tax and estate planning, including agricultural and business property reliefs
- Draft trusts and complex will provisions to meet clients' unique needs
- Manage executry and trust administrations, particularly for taxable and complex estates
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience: At least 5+ years' PQE in private client work
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of inheritance tax planning, trust drafting and estate administration
- Skills: Excellent client management, communication and attention to detail
