My long-established client is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor with over 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to support their busy property department. This is a senior role with a view towards partnership down the line, ideal for someone ready to take on leadership responsibilities in a well-regarded firm. The role involves both residential and occasional commercial conveyancing, as well as supervisory responsibilities.Â
Day-to-day of the role:- Support the leadership of the conveyancing department, ensuring efficient and effective handling of all cases.
- Supervise and manage a team of paralegals and secretaries, providing guidance and support on complex cases and questions.
- Engage in business development activities to enhance the firm’s market presence and attract new clients.
- Handle a caseload of predominantly residential (and commercial conveyancing tasks) with a hands-on approach.
- Provide expert advice and solutions in complex conveyancing cases.
- Maintain a strong office presence to support and lead the team effectively, although hybrid working options are available.
- A minimum of 5 years PQE in conveyancing.
- Strong experience in supervising and managing legal support staff.
- Proven track record in handling both residential and commercial conveyancing.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
