Title: Solicitor - Claims Solutions Location: Glasgow Salary: £45,000 - £55,000This firm is a leading international legal business with a strong presence across multiple jurisdictions. The Scottish casualty team specialises in defending claims of all types, values, and complexities, with a primary focus on employer and public liability claims, as well as assisting with large loss motor cases. As part of a wider national team, the successful candidate will work alongside experienced partners and associates, handling their own caseload while also supporting the team with high-value and complex litigation. Responsibilities will include instructing experts and counsel, drafting pleadings, reviewing medical records, investigating liability, and liaising with clients on key issues. My client is looking for a qualified solicitor with a minimum of six to nine months’ experience in litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in civil litigation, a proactive approach to claims investigation, and the confidence to handle cases independently while knowing when to seek guidance. Strong legal research skills, experience appearing in court, and the ability to provide commercially focused advice are essential. Additionally, the role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
