Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking to join a reputable and well-known firm in the heart of Glasgow?

Reed is delighted to be assisting a well-known and highly reputable law firm in Glasgow City Centre in their search for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Court and Personal Injury Department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and hard working  individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of fee earners and senior partners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting legal documents such as writs, summons, defences, and affidavits.
  • Preparing and filing court documents, including initial writs and motions.
  • Managing case files and maintaining accurate records.
  • Utilising case management software.
  • Scheduling court appearances, client meetings, and depositions.
  • Liaising with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals.
  • Assisting with the preparation of trial bundles.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary in personal injury law.
  • Proficiency in case management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and professional approach to work.
  • Familiarity with court procedures and legal terminology.
