We are excited to be exclusively assisting a leading Glasgow-based firm, who are eager to add an experienced Legal Secretary to support 2 Fee Earners daily. Ideally, you will have extensive secretarial experience from any sector, and be keen to join an established business, servicing quality clients daily. You will be a professional, well organised and proactive individual, who is seeking a fresh challenge in a welcoming and innovative organisation.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. The salary for this role is up to 30,000 p/a. This position will be fully office-based.
Are you who we are looking for?
- You are an experienced Legal Secretary, with proven experience
- You are a confident communicator both written and orally
- You have strong time and diary management
- You can work individually and as part of a wider team
- You enjoy collaborating with various business departments and stakeholders
- You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages, Law Ware and Amequs (desired, but not essential)
- You have a strong attention to detail, especially when typing and drafting legal documents
- You are professional, proactive and able to multitask
- You enjoy having a varied workload
What is the day to day like?
- Assisting 2 Fee Earners daily with a variety of tasks, as well as assisting the wider team when required
- Opening and closing client files
- Completing AML and due diligence checks
- Assisting with any diary management when required
- Utilising internal systems to ensure all client information is up to date and accurate
- Completing any administrative duties and drafting documents when required
- Handling any inbound calls from existing and prospective clients
- Welcoming clients into the office for meetings when required
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
