Description

  • Document Management: Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
  • Client Liaison: Communicate directly with clients, arrange meetings, and manage diaries, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Case Management: Assist with the preparation, organisation, and management of case files, including filing, archiving, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Administrative Support: Provide essential office support, including answering phones, managing emails, photocopying, scanning, and assisting with billing and invoicing.

Profile

  • Legal Secretarial Experience: Previous experience in a legal secretarial role is essential, within any practice area.
  • Strong People Skills: You are confident, personable, and thrive when working as part of a wider team. You'll be comfortable liaising with clients and colleagues both in-person and remotely across multiple locations.
  • Excellent Administrative Skills: You are organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage a range of administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Communication & Client Service Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on delivering first-class client service.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Calm, organised, and able to prioritise effectively, ensuring that deadlines are met and tasks are completed with accuracy.
  • IT Proficiency: A solid understanding of Microsoft Office platforms, including Word, Outlook, and SharePoint, is essential.
  • Additional Skills (Preferred): Experience with datarooms and online portals would be beneficial but is not required. Prior experience with digital dictation is also preferred.
