Some of the day-to-day tasks & responsibilities:
- The majority of your caseload will comprise claims with a value up to £5,000
- Pre-litigation assessment of subrogated recovery claims
- Managing your own caseload of subrogated recovery claims using a case management system
- Assisting solicitors in the team as required
- Ensuring regular contact with clients and third parties by telephone, email and general correspondence
- Dealing with claims, assessing quantum and negotiating settlement
- Drafting court proceedings and handling all procedural aspects other than hearings
- Complying with the firm's time recording policy
- Being aware of the firm’s information security policies – protect information assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference at all times
Do you have what it takes to be successful?
- Four years’ experience gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level
- Existing experience handling a caseload independently
