We’re working with a reputable firm in Glasgow that’s looking to strengthen their residential property team with an organised and motivated Legal Assistant.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm known for its supportive culture and career progression opportunities. You’ll play a key role in helping deliver smooth, efficient property transactions to a wide-ranging client base.The Role:As a Legal Assistant in the residential property team, you’ll provide day-to-day support to fee earners and be involved in all aspects of the conveyancing process. Responsibilities include:
  • Liaising with clients and lenders, providing regular updates and handling queries
  • Drafting legal documents including Dispositions, Securities, LBTT returns and Discharges
  • Ordering searches and Redemption Statements
  • Lodging Advance Notices and registering legal documents
  • Updating case management systems and online platforms such as LMS and Lender Exchange
  • Managing diaries and providing general administrative support
  • Handling post-settlement queries and issuing updated title deeds
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a property or admin is preferred but not essential
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication – written and verbal – with a customer-focused mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of LawPro would be a bonus
  • A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude and great attention to detail
