Looking to join a very successful Private Client Team who due to their ongoing success are exceptionally busy and have an immediate opportunity for a highly skilled Legal Assistant to join them and successfully coordinate the teams activities. Highly organised with exceptional communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to prioritise your work you will enjoy a varied and interesting workload which shall includeAnswering telephone calls, taking messages, setting up appointments and managing team diaries• Opening money laundering and legal files • Secretarial support to Solicitors and Paralegals (six 6 fee earners): mainly typing of dictation, fee notes, client correspondence• Entering precise data quickly and correctly• Office administration duties: filing and scanning• Mail duties: Organising all mail for signature, collection and allocation of mail to appointed staff within the department, ensuring all mail leaves the department on the day scheduled• Assisting with the receipt of new instructions / referrals • Using various computer systems to create/update and maintain client records accurately• Dealing with basic client queries and taking messages where appropriate• Preparing fee notes• Registering Powers of Attorney• Completion of forms• Lodging & uplifting of wills and documents• Debt Management You will have proven strong administration skills ideally gained within a private client team, be proficient in using MS Office packages and have the ability to build strong relationships.A competitive salary together with generous benefits is offered.Please contact Deborah Collier at QED Legal on the details provided for more information.
