Our client, a global leader in their field, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Category Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in driving value and service delivery improvements throughout the supply chain. Salary for this role is up to £46k depending on experience plus excellent benefits that include a non-contribution pension, hybrid working and free parking.Key Responsibilities:• Identify, execute, and implement end-to-end strategic sourcing strategies to provide strategic purchasing support, aligned with the company's procurement and supply chain management goals.• Segment suppliers based on commercial and risk factors, recommending an appropriate supplier management approach based on the segmentation.• Continuously manage and nurture relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance meets or exceeds expectations.• Act as the centre of excellence on contractual matters, offering advice and support on purchasing issues.
