Overview:
Our client is a highly successful and well-established distributor near Paisley. They are looking for a customer focused and enthusiastic Warehouse and Transport Manager and to manage their 30,000sq ft warehouse.
Benefits and pay range:
- £34,000 - £35,000 per annum. Full time, permanent position
- Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm
- 25 days holiday (closed over Christmas and New Year) + bank holidays
- Bonus dependent on profitability of the branch
- Pension contribution up to 6%
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Management of goods-in, sorting of stock, receipt of goods, dispatch and stock taking responsibilities, while improving operations and workflow efficiency
- Plan out all warehouse resources and activities
- Manage staff of 11
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Complete work logs and efficiency reports. Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly reports on inventory & manpower
- Ensure that all the Health & Safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in similar role
- Class 2 license required. CPC is preferable
- Organised, structured and customer driven
- Ability to multi-task in a fast moving environment
