Our third-party client is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Lead to oversee and elevate their logistics fulfillment service, ensuring it meets strategic organisational goals.Position Details:
  • Location: Primarily based in Dalmarnock, Glasgow, with travel to main stores in Glasgow and potentially Fife.
  • Duration: 18 month FTC
  • Hours: 35 hours per week, typically 7 hours per day between 07:00-17:00.
  • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
  • Working Model: Hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week to drive ongoing improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Logistics Operations team, driving a high-performance fulfillment service aligned with Shared Services and organizational objectives.
  • Act as the lead coach to enhance internal customer service, managing team performance to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize efficiency.
  • Promote a collaborative culture, proactively identifying synergies across the CFO Portfolio to achieve shared goals and enhance portfolio impact.
  • Develop and implement operational dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Skills & Requirements:
  • Proven leadership in logistics operations, with a track record of driving high-performance standards in fulfillment services.
  • Strong coaching and performance management skills to foster excellent internal customer service.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and identify synergies across departments.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with experience in developing operational dashboards.
