Overview:

Our client is a highly successful and well-established distributor near Paisley. They are looking for a customer focused and energetic Warehouse Manager to manage their 30,000sq ft warehouse.

Benefits and pay range:

  • £33,000 - £35,000 per annum. Full time, permanent position
  • Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm
  • 25 days holiday (closed over Christmas and New Year) + bank holidays
  • Bonus dependent on profitability of the branch
  • Pension contribution up to 6%

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Management of goods-in, sorting of stock, receipt of goods, dispatch and stock taking responsibilities, while improving operations and workflow efficiency
  • Plan out all warehouse resources and activities
  • Manage staff of 11
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers
  • Complete work logs and efficiency reports. Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly reports on inventory & manpower
  • Ensure that all the Health & Safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience in similar role
  • Class 2 license required. CPC is preferable
  • Organised, structured and customer driven
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast moving environment
