Job Title: Service Controller

Reporting to: Branch Manager

Location: Hillington, Glasgow

Salary: Competitve 

Main Purpose: To ensure the timely planning and management of all PPM, reactive and small works to ensure first class delivery of works

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• To ensure that PPM and statutory tasks are planned and completed in line client expectations
• Effective tasking and direction of engineering workforce to complete Reactive, Quoted and Planned Maintenance tasks.
• Act as key point of contact for engineering workforce and subcontractors.
• To work to processes and procedures as specified / agreed per company workflows
• To assist in keeping WIP levels to a minimum by ensuring timely completion of jobs.
• Take health and safety into consideration during all works with support from management
• Ensure maximum utilisation of engineering team during their working day, week and month.

Skills, Knowledge & Person Specification:

• Good communication skills
• Good numeracy skills
• Computer literate in various Microsoft packages and company operated systems
• Self-driven and focused individual with the ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Proactive/problem solver
• Excellent time management skills
• Capable of multi -tasking
• Effective engineer tasking/management key to this role
