Mac Recruit Group are delighted to represent our client, a large group of companies who specialise in the sale, service, and support of JCB machinery. A Crusher Plant Engineer is required to join their team in Glasgow (some travel in the local area required)
Crusher Plant Engineer duties:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair faults in JCB crushers and related machinery.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of the crusher plant.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Perform major overhauls and ensure machinery complies with safety and operational standards.
- Attend breakdowns on-site, providing rapid and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during repairs and maintenance.
Crusher Plant Engineer requirements:
- Relevantqualifications e.g. City and Guild, NVQ or SVQ qualifications in Construction Plant Maintenance
- Experience working on crushers and screeners
- Experience in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment
