Electrical Bias

Monday - Friday NIGHT SHIFT 

 

Overview

This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer who is looking to move on to a nights only shift pattern. As a maintenance engineer, you will be joining an experienced team who will play a key part of site growth. You will work across proactive and reactive engineering as well as having the opportunity to be involved in projects and improvement work. 

 

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer

  • Proactive maintenance and site PMs
  • Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
  • Working across electrical faults and maintenance
  • Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)
  • Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine output
  • Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site

 

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

  • Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
  • Ideally electrically biased with supporting mechanical experience
  • Experience working in a maintenance engineer role previously, ideally in a similar industry
  • Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment
