As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring the smooth operation of cutting-edge production lines. You will work closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that optimise both performance and cost-efficiency.

• Lead initiatives aimed at reducing waste, increasing productivity, and driving cost savings across the manufacturing process.

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements through Lean, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement methodologies.

• Support the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient introduction of new products or processes.

• Analyse manufacturing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

• Champion the principles of Lean manufacturing and contribute to the development of strategies that optimise plant efficiency.

• Lead or support troubleshooting activities for production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

• Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure manufacturing goals are achieved.

• Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement across the organisation, helping teams adopt new practices and drive change.

• Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• A passion for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and waste minimisation in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge and practical experience of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement techniques.

• A proactive mindset with the ability to drive change and deliver tangible results.

• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and has excellent communication skills.

• The ability to analyse complex manufacturing processes and develop effective solutions.

• A strong understanding of manufacturing systems and process flows.

• Dedication to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

• Familiarity with Lean and Continuous Improvement tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.

• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, process design, and equipment.

• Strong IT skills, particularly in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).

• Experience with CAD, CAM, or similar design software is advantageous.
