Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction activities from planning through to delivery. Working closely with the project team and acting as the client’s representative, you will ensure that works are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency, adhering to agreed timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Take responsibility for site safety, delivering inductions, Toolbox Talks, Daily Task Briefings, and Point of Work Assessments.
- Allocate tasks to site operatives and coordinate subcontractor activities effectively.
- Provide supervision and guidance to on-site teams, ensuring all work is completed competently and safely.
- Manage and oversee key activities such as heavy concrete works, drainage, and ducting.
- Collaborate with Line Managers to address potential impacts on project timelines and ensure programme compliance.
- Maintain detailed daily records of site operations and contribute to progress reports for the management team.
Candidate Profile
This position would suit:
- A Site Supervisor or Sub Agent with proven experience in Civil Engineering.
- A Site Engineer seeking to step into a supervisory or managerial role.

Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Demonstrable experience in managing construction sites.
- Previous work history in the Civil Engineering industry.
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or above.
- CSCS card at Supervisor level.
- SMSTS certification.
- First Aid qualification.
- Proficient in IT tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
