Description
- Oversee daily operations within the Manufacturing department circa 150 head count (4 direct reports)
- Develop and implement strategies to improve performance and drive growth.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organisational policies.
- Lead and motivate the team to meet organisational goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to set departmental targets.
- Implement cost-effective solutions to enhance profitability.
- Manage resources effectively to meet production targets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the department.
Profile
A successful Operations Manager should have:
- A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (beneficial not essential)
- Proven experience in operations management within the FMCG manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies.
- A results-driven approach and the ability to work under pressure.
