Well established sector leading client looking to add anexperienced Production Planner to their project team,

3-6 Month contract in first instance.

Position will play a crucial role in coordinating production schedules, ensuring that orders are managed into the manufacturing processes, run smoothly and efficiently.

Good understanding of supply chain management, quality control, and business processes to optimise production flow and meet customer demands required.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability.
  • Collaborate with various departments including procurement, manufacturing, and quality control to ensure alignment of production goals.
  • Utilise internal MES to track inventory levels, production progress, and scheduling changes
  • Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks or issues that may affect delivery timelines.
  • Provide regular updates on production status to management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, changes, and outcomes for reporting purposes

Experience

  • Proven experience in a scheduling or planning role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and business processes.
  • Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes is advantageous.
  • Experience with quality control measures to ensure product standards are met.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems for scheduling and inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
