As the Site Manageryou will be part of ourConstruction Teamwho are responsibleforthe repair and maintenanceof all SPEN underground assets. Along with this we install new connections and network investmentworks.

Responsibilities will include:

Include the management and resourcing of Contracts to maximise the profit and minimise costs by:-

Developing good working relationships and close liaison with clients, project team members and all interested parties

Dealing with variations and valuations (submission and settlement)

Managing health, safety, quality and environmental issues

Managing human resources issues

Ensuring operatives are suitably trained and competentby identifying needs and refreshertraining

Handling customer issues to suitable resolution.

Maintaining a standard of high quality work.

Controlling overtime and wages payments,

Skilles & Knowledge

Carrying out prevetsensuring a firsttime cost effectiveresolutionon site

Technical civil construction knowledge under HAUC and NRSWA

Awareness of SPEN Policies and procedures and distribution power engineering, including LV, HV upto and including 33kv distribution systems

Commercial awareness

Ability to work well under pressure

Possess good interpersonal and communication skills

Computer literacy

Ability to motivate people to reach common goals

Ensuring compliance with all MES policies, procedures and appropriate legislation
