CBW have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading facilities maintenance company. You will be responsible for carrying out small install/reactive maintenance on commercial contracts across the central belt of Scotland. More information on this excellent opportunity is below!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry
- F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Competitive salary up to £39,000 per annum (depending on experience).
- Van & fuel card supplied.
- Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).
- Participation in an out of hours on call rota 1 in 7 £100 P/W.
