Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a fresh opportunity with an excellent work-life balance? CBW is proud to partner with a leading facilities maintenance company. This role involves carrying out small installations, reactive maintenance, and servicing across commercial contracts in Glasgow and the central belt of Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF units, and chillers.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning coils, replacing filters, and servicing moving parts to maximize HVAC lifespan.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Conduct inspections and assessments to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors on complex repairs and system upgrades.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role in facilities management.
- F-Gas Cat 1 certification is essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, servicing, and repairs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Salary £40,000 - £45,000
- On-call rota (1 in 7) with £140 per week + door-to-door overtime pay.
- Overtime at time-and-a-half, with double-time for weekends.
- Weekend overtime opportunities available.
