We are looking for a CNC Field Service Engineer

Our machines, including lathes and machining centres, are widely utilized in various manufacturing companies, exemplifying our extensive presence in the industry. Areas of manufacturing covered include:

  • Aerospace
  • Power generation
  • Motorsport
  • Oil and gas
  • Medical
  • Automotive
  • Precision component manufacture

As a CNC Field service engineer delivering exclusive machine tools that are renowned for their quality, reliability, and performance. However, what truly sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to providing unparalleled service support to all our valued customers.

What youll be doing:

  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance of the D N Solutions Machines and others in accordance with our internal servicing standards
  • CNC control experience on Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain control
  • Diagnosing faults and making repairs where appropriate
  • Fostering strong professional relationships with all Mills CNC clients
  • Ensuring strict compliance with our internal health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Sharing information within Mills in line with our Quality Processes.

Who were looking for:

  • A qualified engineer with recognised apprenticeship
  • Living in the area; Glasgow - Edinburgh corridor location preferred
  • A professional and effective communicator
  • A strong proactive attitude and approach to resolving issues on site.
  • Knowledge of CNC turning and milling machine tools
  • Experience in CNC Machine Tool maintenance (desirable)
  • CNC control experience on Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain control (desirable)
