Heating and Plumbing Engineer required for rollout of renewable projects in Glasgow area
My client are undertaking an exciting Sustainability and Renewables based set of projects in the Glasgow region. A team of experienced and trainee Engineer / Technicians are needed to complete this program.
Duties will include:
System drain down and cleaning/flushing
Radiator and valve replacement
HIU (Heat Interface Unit) component replacement
System startup and commissioning
Mentoring and guiding trainee staff
This program is to upgrade traditional heating networks to AI controlled carbon saving technology. The network you install will help save 1,000s tons of carbon annually. You will be working across 20+ sites in the Glasgow region.
It is likely you will have a background in:
Heating or Plumbing in a residential construction background
Guiding and mentoring trainees
Full Driving Licence
Working collaboratively with different trades
HIU experience is not necessary as training will be offered on company systems.
Projects will involve close work with Engineers on the telecoms and networking aspect of building fabric and the requirement to be flexible, and for each team to assist the other is paramount
