Job Duties:
  • Design, develop and maintain mechanical systems for marine applications
  • Conduct testing and analysis of marine equipment and machinery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Provide technical support and guidance on marine mechanical systems
  • Participate in the procurement and installation of marine equipment
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Professional engineering certification
  • Experience in marine engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience:

Previous experience in marine engineering

Knowledge and Skills:

• The role holder will require knowledge and experience of naval and / or commercial ship systems with the experience to support system and spatial integration issues with other disciplines.

• Experience with Ship aviation design is desirable.

• Experience with CAD software like AutoCAD or FORAN is desirable.

• Experience of Certification through Naval Authority Groups is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in military and defence engineering projects
Working Conditions:

The role involves working in an office and marine environment. Occasional travel may be required to visit project sites or suppliers.
