Mechanical Project Manager (SC Cleared)Faslane (Hybrid Working)£40.00 - £50.00 per hour (Outside IR35)24 Month ContractMonday - Friday (Days)Excellent opportunity for a SC Cleared Mechanical Project Manager looking for their next immediately available, long term, days based, outside IR35 contract role.My client are a leading world-renowned leading Engineering consultancy who are working on behalf of the MoD, they now need a Project Manager from a Mechanical background to ensure the successful delivery on a range of projects within a Navy base.In this role you will be working as part of a team where you will identify project functional requirements and stakeholder needs for assigned project, liaise and consult with stakeholders throughout project life cycle to ensure efficient and effective project delivery and much more.This role would suit a SC Cleared Project Manager from a Mechanical background, with experience in the design and substantiation of mechanical plant and equipment, concept/detailed design, manufacture and construction stages in a highly regulated industry.The Role:

  • Carry out technical assessment/approval of contractors work instruction/method statements/risk assessments.
  • Provide technical supervision of construction/deconstruction activities to ensure compliance with design intent.
  • Manage detailed design activities in accordance with HMNB (Clyde) standards.

The Person:

  • SC Cleared Project Manager from a Mechanical background
  • Knowledge of UK statutory legislation e.g. PED, CDM, Machinery Directive
  • Looking for an immediately available, days based, long term contract role which is Outside IR35 Working Regulations
