Job Title:Field Service Engineer CNC Machines
Location:Glasgow, with travel to Aberdeen, Glenrothes, Newcastle, and Ireland

About the Role:
Were seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our clients team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of CNC machines. This is a dynamic role involving travel across Glasgow and surrounding areas, including Aberdeen, Glenrothes, Newcastle, and Ireland, to provide expert servicing and repair of CNC machines while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance of CNC machines, adhering to internal servicing standards.
- Visit customer sites to service and repair machines, maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Provide technical support and guidance on CNC machines to internal staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety practices.
- Stay updated on the latest machine models, controls, and technologies, attending training as required.
What Were Looking For:
Location:
- Candidates should be based in or near Glasgow and able to travel to Aberdeen, Glenrothes, Newcastle, and Ireland as required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Engineering HNC and Modern Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years experience in a maintenance-focused role post-apprenticeship.
- Proficient in mechanical and electrical fitting skills.
- Knowledge of one or more control systems: Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- IT literacy, including the use of PCs, mobile devices, and email.
