About the Role:
Were seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our clients team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of CNC machines. This is a dynamic role involving travel across Glasgow and surrounding areas, including Aberdeen, Glenrothes, Newcastle, and Ireland, to provide expert servicing and repair of CNC machines while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance of CNC machines, adhering to internal servicing standards.
  • Visit customer sites to service and repair machines, maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on CNC machines to internal staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest machine models, controls, and technologies, attending training as required.

  • Candidates should be based in or near Glasgow and able to travel to Aberdeen, Glenrothes, Newcastle, and Ireland as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Engineering HNC and Modern Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years experience in a maintenance-focused role post-apprenticeship.
  • Proficient in mechanical and electrical fitting skills.
  • Knowledge of one or more control systems: Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • IT literacy, including the use of PCs, mobile devices, and email.
