Morson are recruiting Welding Engineers on behalf of our prestigious defence client, on an initial 12months contract.

What you'll be doing:

To be part of a team of welding engineers with the aims of improving the welding process to achieve and exceed performance and safety targets.

  • PDR Objectives
  • Achievement of team deadlines
  • Achievement of Programme of work
  • Achievement of identification & delivery of savings targets.
  • Welding defect levels below target
  • Norm alignment, where targeted
  • Internal and external audit outcomes with no major NCs being raised.
  • All welders coding's to be current, and in line with the relevant standards
  • Welding procedures to be in place for all current welding requirements, and in line with the relevant standards
  • Understand BAE quality standards and work tolerances, understand own Quality performance and actively set out to improve

Your skills and experience:

  • High level of process awareness and understanding of current welding requirements and documentation
  • Experienced in document creation
  • Interrogating all aspects of the welding processes

Successful candidates will be subject to export control and security vetting prior to a start on site.
