Are you an experienced maintenance engineer with some leadership experience? If so, this could be the role for you.
I am recruiting for a nationally recognised waste to energy recycling firm. The company is continuing to receive investment and is operating in the green energy sector.
To be successful in this role, you will currently be working as a team leader or supervisor in some capacity, or, be working as a senior maintenance engineering team member. As the role will be leading a team of electrical or mechanical engineers, it is important that you are technically sound in either capacity and have worked within a heavy industry environment. Previous experience working in a maintenance engineering capacity on larger / industrial equipment is ESSENTIAL.
Leading a team of electrical or mechanical technicians, you will be the go to person for all engineering activities within your team. Working with the operational function, you will be responsible for: motivating and leading a team on a daily basis- strong man management skills are a must, distributing planned and reactive maintenance activities across site, working hands on- fault finding and repairing on a range of mechanically oriented equipment, ensure all colleagues are acting in accordance with health and safety regulations, driving improvements across site, along with much more.

The Person:
Experienced maintenance engineer with leadership experience (senior maintenance engineer, team lead, team manager, maintenance manager, maintenance coordinator etc)
Electrical or mechanical engineering background
Experience in a heavier industry environment (power plants, aggregates, energy, oil & gas- examples)- ESSENTIAL
The role:
Distributing reactive and planned maintenance tasks across site
Fault finding and rectification on production equipment
