A skilled Field Engineer with proven experience is needed to cover Central Scotland & beyond on a full-time basis. We specialise in Vehicle CCTV and GPS Tracking systems.

You will join our expanding family-owned business in the Vehicle Technology and Telematics Installation industry. You will be provided with a company vehicle alongside performance bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure vehicle telematics systems, including hardware and software components
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of vehicle electronics and electrical systems
  • Conduct on-site installations, upgrades, and maintenance of telematics devices in a variety of vehicle types
  • Work with team members to ensure efficient and effective project execution

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in working with vehicle electrics, preferably in the field of telematics installation or a related industry is essential
  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and components
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to vehicle electronics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
  • Willingness to travel and work in different locations as per project requirements
