About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced team covering multiple sites across Glasgow. This role is ideal for a qualified and experienced electrician who is looking for a varied role with maintenance, inspection, and fault-finding responsibilities. The successful candidate will ensure that planned and reactive maintenance is carried out efficiently while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
* Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks as per the maintenance schedule, ensuring all documentation is completed in real-time via a PDA.
* Update the CAFM system with accurate job details, including start/wait/stop times and descriptions of work completed.
* Perform reactive maintenance tasks across various sites, swiftly diagnosing and rectifying faults.
* Ensure all plant faults and defects are remedied quickly to maintain full functionality.
* Carry out electrical testing and inspection, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations.
* Maintain an adequate stock of spare parts to carry out both maintenance and reactive work effectively.
* Attend site breakdowns and respond to call-outs as required, participating in the on-call rota.
* Ensure that company vehicles, tools, and test equipment are maintained in good working condition and up to regulatory standards.

Who We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
* Recognised industry qualification in electrical engineering.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (Essential).
* Electrical Testing & Inspecting 2391 (Desirable).
* Trade-qualified Electrician with experience in maintenance and repair.
* Previous experience using CAFM systems for logging and tracking maintenance tasks.
Additional Certifications (Desirable but Not Essential)
* Legionella Awareness (Training available if required).
* Asbestos Awareness.
* MEWP Licence.
* First Aid Certification.
Skills & Attributes
* Computer literate with strong communication skills.
* Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
* Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
* Full, valid UK driving licence required.
* Must be available to participate in an out-of-hours standby rota.
