Titan are currently working with a very successful Freight Forwarder based in Hillington who are looking for an Imports Supervisor to join their team.


You will be required to dealwith all aspects of Freight Forwarding whilst successfully leading a small operations team within the branch.


Role responsibilities -
  • Operational activity in all areas of international and domestic freight movements predominantly Ocean imports
  • Manage and lead a team of 4 Operators
  • Oversee all aspects of import operations
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations, manage documentation, coordinate with suppliers and customs and optimise the import process for efficiency
  • Supervise and manage the import process from start to finish
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant import regulations and policies
  • Coordinate with suppliers and customs brokers
  • Manage import documentation and record-keeping
  • Resolve any issues related to customs, shipping or logistics

Requirements -
  • Previous Team Leader / Supervisory experience is preferred
  • Proven experience in import/export operations
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international trade laws
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Previous experience within a similar environment is essential
