Reed Finance is recruiting a Commercial Analyst for a key client based in Glasgow City Centre. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Commercial Analyst will drive commercial success of the organisation by providing deep insights, robust analysis and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders.

The position is a two year fixed term contract with hybrid working of two/three days in the office. Due to the size of the organisation, it is likely that there will be internal opportunities to explore at the end of the contract. We are searching for candidates ideally with a strong project accounting background or business transformation experience

The main responsibilities the position entails are:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand projects from concept to completion
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast benefits
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and refine strategies
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to translate business requirements
  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of potential business decisions

To be considered for the role you must possess the following:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS)
  • Background in project accounting or business transformation finance role
  • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders
  • Experience working as in a large, complex organisation
