I am currently recruiting for HR Business Partner to join my public sector client on a temporary basis until March 2025 with an immediate start.

My client is looking for a HR professional to join their well established team and support with all aspects of the HR function with a focus on HR case management, providing support and guidance to managers throughout the process until the end of the investigation.

This contract will start immediately, my client is also offering hybrid working with 4 days at home and one day based in the office in Glasgow City Centre.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday with flexibility around working hours with a 37 hour working week.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Experience of supporting with complex HR cases
  • Ability to interpret data and report back to wider business
  • Provide generalist HR support
  • Provide support & Guidance to management team
  • Engage with internal & external stakeholders


The suitable candidate will have:

  • CIPD Qualification
  • Employee Relations case work experience
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ensure adherence to Company policies and employment law
  • Proven IT literacy skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships with managers and employees at all levels
  • A good team player, able to maintain confidentiality
