At EPC Associates we are looking to grow ourCDM Services Department with a new CDM Adviser/Principal Designer team member.

This exciting role will involve working alongside our senior team members to provide a wide range of CDM support services including creating CDM related paperwork, attending team meetings and undertaking CDM site visits. The role would suit an organised individual, who can respond to fast pace demands in a professional and disciplined manner.You will be joining a long-established, high-performing team in the delivery of the full range of CDM consultancy services to nationwide clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • experience within a similar position, demonstrating abasic construction background, design knowledge and familiarity with construction health and safety;
  • a working knowledge and experience of the CDM 2015 Regulations; other health & safety regulations and a basic knowledge of design and construction related activities and designers duties;

  • the experience and expertise to compile pre- construction information, review construction phase plans, collate health and safety files and able to work effectively with people at all levels and from all backgrounds.

  • ability to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines with disciplined ability to work unsupervised

  • strong communication (both written and verbal) skills and an interpersonal style that enables you to excel in a direct client facing role.

  • the drive and ambition needed to develop the business, alongside loyalty and a willingness to actively contribute to the growth of the team.

  • good IT skills and competence in Microsoft Office suite to generate own reports and documents

  • ideally you will hold a NEBOSH General Certificate /Construction qualification and Design/ construction qualification and experience.

  • fulldrivers license and own car is essential.

Our directors have been operating in the field of CDM compliance for over 30 years across the whole range of private and public sector property types. Project values range from the small scale up to £200m.

Employment basis: The role is expected to be a full- time position, however, we are open to discussing a more flexible or part- time approach where possible.
